Steam having problems

Steam's been a bit crazy for the last two hours. I can't keep logged into the Steam community for more than five minutes at a time. Some sort of major update on the way or just some mundane maintenance/problems?

Let the speculations and rumour mill begin!

According to this it's just maintenance. Maintenance that was supposed to last ten minutes. Thank god for Valve time.
