Steam Help Please

My Steam won't open up. I click on it and it says Steam is already running. But usually the menu comes up anyway! Its being stupid help please!

What do you mean by 'the menu comes up anyway' ? Can you use the menu?

no it just says one copy of steam is already running, menu wont come up

Close STEAM from your task manager, then start STEAM up..

EDIT: Nvm it worked when i went to processes, thnx for the help

Hi, i got the same error as madog but when i closed it from processes it still wouldn't load.

any helo would be exellent thank you

Have you just installed it for the first time? Have has ran before on your computer?
