Steam is borked

Was on the chat yesterday when it crashed. It wouldn't start after that, instead throwing some exception and asking to debug.

Uninstalled it and reinstalled it twice today, and the same thing happens -- once my steam window comes up, it fails.

Any ideas?

Fixed it.

Now I have to reinstall all the Half Life / 2 games I had :|

Oddly it's not installing from disk, it's downloading them.

If the gcfs are still present, that should just be validation.

Annnnd...it broke again...wtf?

It randomly and quickly asks me to debug and it closes the program.
