Steam Is Down (cs At Least)

ok at 10:55 PM (MST) I tried to play counter-strike but couldn't connect to any servers...it just did nothing when I clicked 'join game', anyways I am just gonna go to bed. (I HATE SUCKY CRAP STEAM!!!)

Ok this morning it is bad but I now have gay crap problems...tell me if you have the same issue or if you know how to fix it. (PS my friend gets this too)

ok it useto almost never happen but now pretty much everytime I double-click a server, that stupid server properties dialog comes up and if I click 'refresh' the ping goes to 2000. I sit there hittting 'Join game' then 'refresh' then 'join game' the n 'refresh' and so on until finnnaly I get in. I hate haveing to take 15 seconds and 50 clicks just to get into a server, it is retarted.

Have you tried shutting down steam, deleting clientregistry.blob in the steam folder, and fired up steam again ? This updates your steam platform and actually fix a lot of problems. Give it a try.

RADEON 9600 PRO
512 MB DDR RAM
ASUS Motherboard

I think the PC is just fine... and this never used to happen.
