Steam is shhhlow

Bough Company of Heros off Steam. Usually my purchases are very quick to download, but lately it's been extremely slow. On average it seems like I'm getting a 100k download speed

Anyone know what's up? Is it just me? Or is everyone being plagued by slowness?

I love Steam, I think it's a great idea and try to purchase most of my games thru it. Love automatic updates and not having to backup boat loads of CD's.

I just wish the downloads were as fast as they used to be

Delete your clientregistry.blob and it should put you on another content server. Some servers are slower than others, generally I get "quick" speeds.

I have those problems now and then, don't know if its because of the steam servers are collapsing under the strain of the whole community or whether or not its because its a popular purchase.

Just as I was looking at Bandwidth Available, I decided to check out the CS weapons market (I haven't been on the game for ages), and it just made me LOL at the lowly smidt scout

Now that I think about it, all weapons are at $1?
