I HAD the game all working nicely until yesterday lunch time.. I wanted a quick game durng my break but..0h no..server was busy so- F*KK off! I then tried to play "offline" I took out my network lan cable and restarted, but of course it would'nt work, I kept tryin to connect for an hour but nothing, I thought maybe my steam itself was corrupted so, stupid me..I unistalled it..I did'nt know it would uninstall the whole GAME...damn!!!!!:frown:
Now Im tryin to get my game back..but steam just wont connect..I tried at 5am this morning and firstly..it takes FOREVER to bring up a dialgoue box saying "updating" then about 3 mins later it says "server too busy" or something..I been tryin it almost constantly since yesterday..is it really that bogged down still?
When people are already playin the game, are they still considered logged into steam therefore they occupy that user slot..so others cant get in?
I tried getting into the Steam Powered user forums but its been "server too busy'" since yesterday too although I had no troubles connecting or playing before then, even on opening day..what the heck is going on:frown:
it seems after I unplugged my lan cable thats when things went horribly wrong, would that screw it up so badly? I re-installed Steam 3 or 4 times already from scratch, even deleted it in the registry
