Steam Lag

I was just wondering if anyone has been experiencing alot of lag today on steam. I seem to be lagging constantly but my download and uploads speeds elsewhere are working fine. Anyone else have a similar problem or can offer a solution? I have 512 upstream and 512 downstreams. Thanx

I have always had around 40-90 ping average on CS:S servers, I left for 2 days and came back yesterday, and now every server I join, my ping is around 250+...I use Comcast cable internet. Is this similar to what you're experiencing?
