Steam not Installing/Uninstalling

Hey guys,

I recently upgraded my motherboard last week to a new one with some new RAM and had two HDDs on the previous system, a 400GB (C: ) one and a 200GB ( E : ) one with Steam installed on the latter.
Two days ago the latter drive dropped dead, recovery didn't work, so I pulled the plugs and worked on the 400GB as the primary drive (it still has some space on it).

I have tried to install Steam on the 400GB drive with no success due to a "Error 1327 - Invalid Drive E:/", which prematurely ends the Steam installation programme.
Do you guys have any ideas as to what to do so that I can get Steam running on C: ?

Scratch that, using Revo Uninstaller and wiping the associated registry install paths fixed it.
