Steam ordering problem!!

After I entered my credit card info and went through the purchasing loading screen it gave me this:

"Your subscription to Half-Life 2 Silver has not been completed, because steam servers are currently unable to process the transaction.

You won't be able to play Half Life 2 silver until the subscription process is complete. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. The steam team is working to rectify this situation, and will notify you as soon as the transaction is complete."

How will they contact me when it is done? Should I do the entire purchase process over again?

i got the same thing but i clicked on cs source and it unlocked it.. try it.

it works. click on cs source it will unlock it

if u get the error saying it will be processed they will contact u bla bla... just click on cs s it willl unlock it. but no servers available.

I got the same thing for the gold package...however CS:Source IS now in "my games"...I think its because HL2 and the rest aren't released yet...and I think they will contact you through either the e-mail address you entered in steam or maybe a phone call/snailmail contact...if anyone actually KNOWS please help enlighten us.

Ok you guys were right I unlocked CS: Source but now it doesnt display any servers.

i had the same thing for my silver package cept i could play cssource on online servs.. and about 1 min ago i got a conformation that my order just went threw finally took it about 20 mins to process

I'm getting the problem now. And CS:S worked last night. Damn .. When is the confirmation coming? I want to play!

Mine said it couldn't process the order, but I could play. I went and played and later I got a message saying it went through.

That's what happened here, but I haven't recieved a message yet. And now I can't play until it has been processed. I shouldn't have shut down my computer when I went to sleep last night.

It's quite typical if something ***** up with my order. My brother just broke CD1 of Sims2, so this would just top the whole thing and make me even happier..

It has almost gone 24 hours since I purchased now, and still not processed?
