Steam Problem!

Hi guys i'm having difficulties connecting to my games from steam. Whenever I log into my steam account and click on Counter Strike Source in the game tab it wouldn't load the game up. Is it a firewall problem or something else. I've tried deleating the .blogs in the steam files along with everything else besides the steam.exe and steam.apps but i still can't launch counter strike source from steam. I remember changing some things in msconfig but i can't find the website anymore. Any kind of input would help me a lot.

thanks will try. will having microsoft updates help run counter strike source?

Not likely, but installing the dotnet package solved the same problem for a friend about a week ago.

thanks for the input. i'm still reinstalling counter strike source in my steam. i've download .net so hopefully it works.
