Steam problem...

I open steam online, since I am not done updating and cannot do offline mode yet, but it never loads. It just sits there scanning for steam updates in the play games window the whole time. It might load eventually, but when I click on the update monitor the window won't come up and if i right-click to close it, steam crashes... any thoughts?

Oh hey, it looks like it finally loaded. Took like 20 minutes, lol. Two of the three games are almost done updating, so maybe all will be well after that?

I get this occasionally..so far after the updates finish it is ok,until the next time at least
