Steam Restore Problems

okay so i backed up half life 2 and counterstrike source onto a DVD disc...and used steam restore on another computer and it worked perfectly ,no errors...i went into the SteamApps folder and everything seemed to be there...but under my steam play games list half life 2 or counterstrike aint there...wat do i do ive tried reinstalling steam...didnt work..

You must log into the account which you have HL2 and such games registered with. Check you logged into the correct account.
