Steam servers busy????

Updated Steam last night and now it won't let me play offline, getting above message.
What's up doc??

Just as it said.... Steam Servers are busy...

I think the new CS Source update put a big strain on the servers becuase it was quite a large update. I tried several times to update last night without success. I've been updating now for about 20mins ................ It's still downloading! I'm getting about 1% every 10 minutes! 97% ............................ 10 mins later 98% ..................... CMON!!!

I think I managed to update without a single problem... It seemed to take less than about four minutes.
