Steam/source Problem

hi guys, i've got a problem and hopefully you guys can help. well when i run steam and i click onto cs source in my games on steam it say's it's preparing to launch cs source but after a bit nothing happens. i can't get to the cs source game page. i've looked at the steam support but can't find no fix.

In your game list menu, is CS Source on 100%? I assume you have it fully updated. Also verify the game files.

1. Load Steam
2. From the My Games tab, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
4. Steam will verify the game cache files (GCF's) - this process may take several minutes. Do not verify the cache files for multiple games simultaneously - as some games share cache files with other games, this may cause problems with verification.
5. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.

well i bought cs source couple months back and i recently reformated my computer and after reinstaling steam from steam website i got this problem where i can't load up my cs source game in steam. other games in steam that i got from buy cs source are day of defeat, half life deathmatch and half life lost coast.
