Steam: Subscription Pending?

Hi,

Long time no post.... I was away on leavers....

I've just got back... installed steam and half-life 2 awaiting to play.... (I can't believe i lasted.....) and now i get a message saying "Subscription Pending" when I enter my cd-key.... now... this is very irritating... anyone know whether i entered it wrongly or are the steam servers down? please help!! :cheers:

btw... on the retail-version that i own, there are no's both on top and some more below on the next line, is it onhly the top ones that are the cd-key? because it said "invalid" when i tried all of them?

Just the top line is what you enter in for the cd-key.

well then i did it right! But steam must be down... or busy... or slow....

yeah, just browse through the forum.

many people are having issues right now. hopefully it's sorted out before i get home tonight.
