"Steam Ticket Expired" error

Every time I try to join a game, it tells me my ticket (or whatever) has expired (or whatever). I've restarted steam, I've restarted my computer... Still happens.

Would preloading HL2 at the same time do this?

Edit: Oh, and when I re-input my password on the error screen it hangs up.

i think it means someone else is using that steam account at the same time as you.
