Updates to Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life: Source and the Source Engine have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

Counter-Strike: Source

Added validation of custom player model and weapon materials. Custom materials must be VertexLitGeneric with only $baseTexture and $bumpmap variables defined

Source Engine

Fixed "not logged in" error not displaying properly

Fixed not being able to run internet game servers for Source Mods in a debugger

Half-Life: Source

Enabled low violence content for low violence users
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

didn't see it anywhere yet so figured I would share the news!

This could be a problem, because I have custom player models and weapons. I'm not sure if they are "valid" or not.

Just for the record, that doesn't mean custom models won't work anymore. This is acutally a counter to a haxxor model that glows through walls. The worst that can happen for custom model users are a inconsistency errors with a small amount of servers and when creating a server. You will not get banned by VAC for using custom models!

Well since I play with the Sourcebot, this shouldn't be an issue then. Good. :)

Just tried to join a server and got a consistency error with my t model, is there anyway to bipass it?

Nothing happend to my game? Whats wrong, i have couple gun models but player models are same. And i have hl2 ragdoll animations..
