More promises of releases and updates from Valve via Steam. Its totaly unbelievable that they STILL* havent said a word about the SDK release after happily letting everyone know that we will have it in a "Matter of Weeks".. What a JOKE*.. .. I bet anyone here, that this Steam "Update" is nothing more than a few Screenies and Movies regarding HL2. I laugh now at Valves ineptitude and inability to address the growing wave of distrust that now plagues them..! Its your own fault at telling constant and irrefutable porky-pies..!
If its any consolation Valve, you are not the only Dev team who feeds and hypes their product to oblivion. Almost all project teams working on PC titles fail at hitting a release date, and almost all make up anything they want to cover this up. I say this with 10 years experience in the Dev field myself, and every "Respectful" company I have worked for over this period, have done, and behaved Exactly this way to cover up failing deadlines. Being a fledgling industry so-to-speak, game design companys have terrible internal problems with staff sickies, Beta leaks, constant team replacements , and disgruntled employees. There is no such thing as a secure Job in the Game industry.. Computer Games are mostly made by people who like to play games, so you do the math..! Rant over for now, awaiting Steam update like you are, the other Hundreds and Thousands of fed-up Humans.. :flame: :flame:
