Steam Validation

i did the validation thing and everything was ok
now everytime i restart steam the validation process starts all over more than 5 min wait... anyone know how to disable validation?

u cant disable it
just play offline, so u dont have to wait.

That's strange, as my friend does not have to validate every time.
I however seem to have the same problem of having to validate every single time I log out of my PC.

Would like to know how to fix this also.

I think that I've found the fix for this by the way, if you're having the same probs, follow the following link:

I havent tried this yet, but sounds like its what I need.
