My steam just downloaded an update when I opened it...now I can't get it to run whats wrong with it.

I had the same problem , it would run , but only in the background , i coudlnt get the tray icon to show up , so i tried some stuff , messed up my steam files , didnt have the installer so i had to do System Restore , now i have the tray icon again. Glad to hear someone else had the same problem.

Its a fake pic. My steam updated and it works fine for me...

Actually, that pic isn't fake, but when you click on that picture it does nothing. If you modify the right files, it'll show the Half-Like 2 logo under the "Media" heading, but it's only there for show. It does NOT do anything.
