Well it seems kiddies all over the world are opening their presents and logging onto steam to register HAlf-Life 2.

And don't forget the flood of problems that have ensued....

P.S. Newegg.com is also dead, at the exact moment of my Nforce4 motherboard purchase, argh. I hope I'm not charged twice....

Steam and Steampowered.com working fine for me.
 
I can't access the steam forums. Maybe Valve are stuffing around with the server again.
 
maybe they are adding a winter theme to the forums!

I'd shut down the forums today and let the mods enjoy the day off. Moderating a horrible community such as that isn't something I wish upon anyone.

i'm getting hl2 and going to TRI to register it in stuff.

Well I say Steam is down, some other people say it is working fine. Why am I one of the lucky ones?
 
I can get on steam, cant login friends though.

Itunes is down for me too. Looks like everyone got a damn ipod for xmas. Oh fie, now I can't download all those polka albums I was itching to get!
 
The website is up for me, the forums are down and steam itself is up.

Steampowered.com is now ONLINE.

Steam forums are still down, but the support section of the site is functioning at this time.

"Horrible community"..surely you jest.They can't be complaining about HalfLife 2 now can they?

After all, as far as the fanboys on the forums are concerned, it's all the fault of the users not STEAM or the game..oh no perish the thought.....

You just seem to bash steam and valve without actually trying to solve any problems, your just as bad as the "fanboys"
