Perhaps a bit of a flowery alliterative way of saying Valve are throwing a Steam Halloween sale! (After all we need another sale event for that increasingly busy looking calendar). A press release from Doug states a huge selection of games are discounted for the Halloween period including Alan Wake, Condemned, The Walking Dead, Amnesia, F3AR, Limbo & Dead Space 2.

If you'd rather not part with your cash you can get your halloween fix with the TF2 Halloween event (now live!) or the soon-to-be announced, Dota 2 halloween event. Press release below (Despite being sent by Doug Lombardi, I'm skeptical he wrote this one...)

Freaks of the night, rejoice! Steam has unleashed monster savings on ghoulish (and not so creepy) titles. From now until about the time all the pumpkins are smashed, over 80 titles are available at prices so low, it's scary.
