My opinions of Kanye's skill, personality, intelligence and overall goodness are inversely proportional to the time I've known of him.

College Dropout was a good album, and Kanye was pretty cool guy.

The shit he's peddling today is abhorrent, and he's a right **** about it too.

God damn Colbert is smart. Most people just plug their new album and tell people to go check it out, hell he just puts some silly story behind it with Kanye and one-liners, then proceeds to tell people to go buy his album on this day and at this time, and people eat it right up. This guy is brilliant.

Don't know why he deviated from his old style so much. Is his new album any good, I've only heard his single.

As of Kanye, I remember there was one thread which said that he claimed to be the best damn musician in the whole world. He's got one hell of an ego.

Anyway, I always hated Kanye but at least I was able to always defend his music. With that garbage he's been putting out lately I can't even do that anymore.
 
I watched that 'george bush doesn't care about black people' video again this afternoon and forgot how awkward kanye is. For being the 'voice of this generation' he sure was stumbling over his words trying to make himself sound important and then finishes it off with the possibly stupidest one-liner of this generation.

I don't know. If I was black and I just saw a bunch of other black people suffer for the sole reason of being black I'd probably be pretty pissed off too. And you say it was the "stupidest" one-liner of this generation, I disagree, I think it's probably the best one liner of the Bush presidency. :)

I actually really enjoy Kanye's new stuff, and I'm the kind of person who mostly listens to indie folk/rock. I don't think a lot of people are giving him a chance.

Wow a person that doesn't listen to rap likes Kanye West's new music. I have nothing against that, I just think it explains why I can't ****ing stand it and the people at Sirius need to take a clue and stop putting his new bullshit on the hip hop stations.
