Still stuck at F#*$ing sandtrap

I've got these damded Antlions trained better than my dog,I don't know if there's a glich in my game or if I missed picking something up along the way,I do know that I'm getting pretty good at typing.Thank you for those of you that have helped me so far,man I'm gettin' pissed at this game!Anything-anyone?

Stuck at sand trap

Stuck at the log wall with the vortigaunt after pheropod(bugbait) training.I've sent previous threads,sorry abought that.

Do everything the vortiguant says. The last thing you need to do is squeeze the pheropod with secondary fire to attract the antlions towards you. After that, the vortigaunt sends you on your way.

If you did all that and nothing happened, something must be wrong with the scripts, so reload and try again.

Hey, I have an idea. If you're up to it, post your save, then one of us can get you past that door, then we save, post it up, and you can get back to the game.

Of course, if you're up to it. And I can't see why not, you don't have anything to lose.

Don't know how to post my save,willing to try anything at this point.

Go to your "Steam/SteamApps/username/half-life 2/hl2/save" folder and get the latest save file one along with the tga file. Highlight them, right click and put send to compressed folder. Then post here and upload the zipped version.

EDIT: You don't need to upload it with the tga file.

Avoid using cheats. It might make the vortigaunt keep yelling things but you won't be there, so some things might not happen correctly. Kinda like if you noclip passed the dam in the helicopter fight. I don't think it would load the Black Mesa East part.

how do you upload the zipped file?

When replying, go to manage attachments and then browse for the zip. It can't be more than 100kb.

Thats the wrong file. It has look like this : half-life-065.sav

The one you uploaded was the tga file which isn't needed.

Why exactly did this need 3 different threads? I would have expected 3 different threads over the period of a few days but you made a thread almost every hour.

Did you ever bother to try what a few people said? Like restarting the sandtrap area?

I feel like a real idiot,my 16 year old son tried to help me with this problem and he fixed it.When I first started playing the game I disabled the right click button on my mouse because I kept getting killed because I kept hitting it so I changed it and I forgot that I disabled it,Thanks for everybodys help,I feel like an idiot,sorry.simple sollution!

Thanks to all of you that have given your help,my 16 year old son helped me figure it out.When I first started playing the game I disabled right click button on my mouse and forgot about it.Pretty stupid huh!
