as i work at a developer, gold dates can be announced whenever. They are NOT indications that a game was just finished. Sometimes dev's announce gold the day its done, sometimes they announce it whenever they want! UT2003 was announced gold 3 days before it shipped. Gold is typically just an announcement that a game is done not that it was finished 5 minutes ago, we held our gold announcement for 3 weeks before we said anything! SO PLEASE, stop saying ROME TW announced gold today bla bla....IT DOESNT MATTER when a gold date is announced! Stop comparing gold announcements, its meaningless!
