FKN HELL STEAM HAS SAID THEY WILL NOT TAKE ANY!! ACTION FROM THIRD PARTY REPORTS OR VIDEOS. The only way haxers will be banned is if the VAC 2 system soon to be released detects a hack.
That means even if u go too steam hq and show them ur hax and use em in front of their eyes they WONT do anything.
This is because many ppl can edit videos etc.

whats worse than catching a hacker and no action being taken? being accused of being one and being punished for it. goddamn kiddies cant take being beaten.
 
i agree with what was said and when is Vac 2 commin out?
 
steam is shite, yet again valve have failed to deliver. i really just want to put my hand through the monitor and kill the person who is hacking in real life. it pisses me off so much. if you cant play the game properly, then just **** OFF AND GO PLAY IN THE ****ING SAND PIT WITH THE OTHER LITTLE LOSER KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya know, Honestly Why dont you just find a good server With good admins, Based around a good community
Wont find any hackers on a server like that, Mainly cause theyll ban it really soon..
 
I hereby call on all dedicated cs player to gather in your local town center, and congrgate with pitch forks, and torches, and go hacker hunting.

Play on admin'd servers. Failing that, just **** off and don't play CS. Don't take this out on Valve
 
Anyone else find it fun trying to kill cheaters on servers? It feels so rewarding to headshot a cheater (even more so than an AWPer).
 
you guys are cocky asses. my post about a hacker, i was trying to help the community. do you think that everyone knows that steam wont take action? i didnt mother f-er, so dont create hostile posts when people are just trying to help. and if youd dont like the fact that someone is posting about it, dont read it god damn.

Cheaters do seem to leave pretty quick if you kill them, their only goal is to piss you off and if you kill them a few times they will usually leave pretty quick, if you want them to stay cuss them out and call them "hackers"




I can understand cheating for financial gain, I can understand cheating on your wife/girlfriend........but cheating on a videogame I DO NOT understand.
 
Most people don't seem to realise that people who cheat are simply trying to get a reaction from people and piss them off.

Best thing to do is either leave the server or just ignore them. Spamming crap like "OMG JOO FOOKING HAX0r N008 I WILL PWN U" is playing into their hands. You're giving them the satisfaction of showing them you're annoyed, and the more you complain, the more they do it.
 
I just play on admin servers, none of these private ones. The people that play there either are hackers or don't mind it.
 
Even some admin servers suck. I was playing on a server the other day and the admin was a spectator. He started to screw around and he found that he was able to do a few things. First he was able to type chat message and make it look like it was sent from one of the other players (in other words, with their name attached). Then he found out he was able to override player's key bindings. He started to do this to the players in the game. I suddenly couldn't move or type anything. I had to go back into the Options and set up all my keys. Needless to say, that server is not one that I'm going to be visiting in the future. Not sure how he did this, but it sure sucked.

But, I agree with the stance of not complaining about hackers. Especially when you have no proof. Some hacks are obvious (such as the speed hack). But, if it's not obvious, and you just suspect someone of a hack and have no proof, don't start calling them a hacker. Give them the benefit of the doubt. They may just be a really good player.

I hate cheating bastards. They claim they are just pr0. I really hope that Cheating Death will be ready for CS:Source. I am even not able to count how many cheating bastards I have met these days at servers.
Thats why I dont play it so much.

Yea i agree, i've ran into some guys who are really good who seem like they hack, but i know they don't and people call them hackers. I usually only accuse people of hacking if i can VISIABLY see the hack.... like Speed Hacking, nothing else really. I just assume the player is good and live with it. If they are hacking, the game is not fun for them, but better for me cause i can learn new ways to play against other people...... thats my two cents
 
guys the point i was trying to get across by blaming steam and valve is because:

1 - i get popups when im on steam but only when i play a steam game...so annoying as it takes a while to load the game up again after it mimimises to windows

2 - they said that hackers would be banned from steam and that they promised there would be no hackers...so much for that....

Ya gotta admit, that's funny. I admit I get my balls wound up in a knot when dealing with twits and their hacks, and have even resorted to screaming at my TEAMMATES (for ***k's sake) about the atrocities being visited upon me by an opposing player. Maybe a stress reliever now and again would be called for...

Just don't expect me to hack/cheat. I'm old-school. I don't even use cheatCODES dammit! :x
