Strange Boot-up Problem

This is some strange problem which I have never heard of before.

I turn on my computer and nothing appears on the monitor. I push and hold the power button until the PC turns off. I push the power button again, nothing happens, then a couple of seconds later my PC just bursts back into life.

This has happened 3 times since I built the computer in October. Any ideas?

Are the insides/back of your computer fine? Cable connections, fans spinning, beeps, green lights and all?

does it give you a beep?

may be a grounding issue....mine sometimes gives me a "No Vga Detected"....im lazy and dont want to remount the mobo

Maybe going into Sleep mode / Hibernation? Check your power options.
