Strange bug.

Every time I join a server in any source game, it will jump to desktop- it won't crash ,but it will just minimize the game to the taskbar.I recently upgraded from mx440 to 9600pro and then it started.After that I formatted my both partitions and it is still there.

9600pro(catalyst 5.3 drivers)

is anyone else having this strange bug?

I've seen people with similar problems with HL2, HL2DM and CS source, although i cannot remeber a remedy, search the forums. The first thing i'd say though is it could be some virus or trojan or spyware that keeps opening which you can see causing the programmes to switch. Do virus scans, and download ad-aware or spybot search and destroy, which are free spyware killers. Look for them on dowload.com if you dont have them. Sorry thats all i can help you with atm. Im sure theres other people who know more.

I get that at times too, but I've not upgraded anything recently. I think it must be a result of a recent update.

I have no spyware or viruses,I use spybot,ad-aware and nod AV.

lol the bug wasn't there today and now there's a new bug with the mouse cursor flickering in the menus.
