Post glitches, secret messages, and just strange stuff in general. Must be in the games Half-Life, Half-Life: Opposing Force, Half-Life: Blue Shift

Half-Life: Blue Shift--- Go to the surveillance room at the beginning of the game. "Use" the left most screen to see Gordon walking down the halls in his lab coat. After looking at the screen once, do it around 10-20 more times. Sooner or later one of the scientists in the upper part will do, what looks like to me, the chicken dance.
Or maybe the "happy dance"?

Half-Life: Blue Shift--- Use the noclip cheat to go behind the firing range, there is a floating block that is textured in black lambda symbols on a pink background in a hall that is textured the same.

Half-Life ---- When you get to the part where you get to meet your second Osprey, throw a grenade, or other explosive device, into the empty little nook for "fuel". It will creat an explosion like there were a number of explosive canisters.

"do it around 10-20 more times"

How did you find this out??
No sane person looks in the monitor that many times.

Haha, yeah, it just milks HL even more.

I've done it before, I can't remember the glitches though, most of them were silly things like getting to places you weren't meant to via jumping and finding a glitch or something there.

Oh and btw, I don't think glitches count where you find them via Noclip or by prematurely giving yourself the longjump module, since the developer wouldn't have bothered making those areas look nice 'cos your not meant to see them. If you can get there via normal methods, it's okay. I will do it again when I got time, nice post Mitoboy.

I had the console activated. It gave some strange messages like "A little more..." or "Soon" stuff hinting that someone would happen if you kept do it.

One more I forgot to add.

I found this out a long time ago; I just never understood what it said until a few months ago.

Half-Life: Opposing Force--- During the endgame, go into the console and type thridperson then look up at the sky. There are words printed in huge black letters! They only appear for the Black Mesa and Xen backgrounds, not the space one. Also, the words switch around when you go to the Xen background.
They read:

HACK HACK HACK
ALL DAY LONG
HACK HACK HACK
WHILE I SING THIS SONG

HALF-LIFE: Opposing Force--- When you are fighting the mid-game boss, after you turn on the gear box and flood the place there should be a broken pipe with water running out of it. Shoot the water. It leaves bullet hole decals.

Disclaimer:

I do use cheats, but I have beaten half-life so many times now the number is in the double digits and is higher than the teens. I explore now, to find those little strange things and I don’t feel like trying to stay alive While I try to find those little things.
I swear if you think less of me because I use cheats even after I have beaten the game so many times I will ram my... Well, you know what I mean.

Hey no no! I never said you used cheats to play, I said that I don't consider glitches to be 'glitches' if they are impossible to get to without cheating. :E

Nah, it was not to you. just people that get upset at the slightest thought of someone cheating.

But seeing this is the off-topic, where the level headed people are. I think I just made a complete ass of myself with that.

A bunch of easter eggs:

- The lockers have names of valve employees written on them.
- In his locker, Gordon has a copy of The 37th Mandala and The Orchid Eater, both written by Marc Laidlaw, half-life's writer.
- The G-Man has a handgun, 3 pencils, a report and a weird looking picture of himself inside the briefcase. See my website for the image.
- I'm not sure if he ever says this in the game, but there is a wav file in the pak file where the G-Man says "No regrets, Mr. Freeman. But there are a few survivors of your personal holocaust(!) who would like to meet the man responcible for the total annihilation of their race."

Isn't this the second choice at the end..when you choice to fight all the Alien-Grunts?

What is your website? I tried to see inside put i never saw them.

And Stone, yes it is the second choice but it is cut off so it only says "No regrets Mr. Freeman" in the game.
