Strange multiplayer problem

I can play MP just fine for up to 10 or 20 minutes but after that everything freezes, a "connection warning" message appears and when everything starts moving again no player models show- just guns- except for my gun which is invisable. This happens independance of my or the servers latency. The dissappearing model thing only happens in CS:S, in regular DM it just crashes or slows down till I disonect from the server.

My computer is fairly new but I suspect the video card is poor, and I connect to the internet through a wireless cable internet connection.

Hmm, actually there is something..
As a 56ker I can totally relate to such a problem.
You see, your connection is timing out. That is what is happening. You arn't reciving any packets thus your computer dosn't show player models because you don't know where they are technically.

Overall it's because your computer is not reciving any packets from the server. Never happens to me anymore.

It is NOT because of your video card.
