Strange prob

Hello, i´ve got a strange prob with Steam/source atm.
I start steam (no prob), start source (no prob), Get the menu in source and server list and join a game (no prob), Then when i get into the game, the gamma is down, and i hang in spec mode, not able to join, get console, no keys work... i have to Ctrl-Alt-Delete to exit to win, then get task manager to kill hl2, mind u my screen flashes like a rave party when i jump out to desktop. wtf?

I played yesterday no prob......??????

EDIT: never mind....the 3. restart of steam and pc, fixed this in some way i find it really hard to understand.... plz delete post.

So, er, source = CS: Source then?

If it comes back, try updating your graphics card drivers (if they aren't already).
