strange white squares

HELP,
Just got new PC, latest drivers, using nvidia 7900 sli mode,

Whenever i shoot lots of little white squares appear where the bullit travels, some kind of graphic corruption,
help, what can i do, this also happens in other valve games, yet all my other games run fine?
