I only ever played the SC demo. Personally found Metal Fatigue good, although I cant seem to run it on Xp properly, the fps is ridiculously low for such an old game.

StarCraft in its time, but Rome: Total War is just a better game by today's standards.

Except that Rome : Total War is a realistic strategy game, with extremely tactical elements and economy and stuff.

While Starcraft is fast-paced unrealistic strategy game, if you're going to compare it to anything...compare it to Dawn of War. :cheers:

Then its a tie between Starcraft and Rome: Total War. They're both amazing, but too different to really compare.

The actors were better than many strategy games. Oh wait they don't have FMV! Plus the FMV in Act Of War was cleverly used.

Rome total war or Age of Empires 2. AOE 2 is a classic, but Rome is the current champion.
