The amount of hours I spent playing the original Street Fighter 2 in the arcade as a kid, and this new one looks every bit as good.

What do you guys think?

Yes, this is the first MUST-HAVE fighting game for me in AGES. I am very excited to pick this up whenever the console versions release.

Actually, depending on the addition of Kratos or not, SC IV might be the next purchase in this genre.

I'm glad they stuck with the 2-d format, switching to 3D for visuals only. Blanka is really the only character I play, and I can't say that I like his new bite attack... I thought he was going to make out with his opponent at first. :x Is there a full move list somewhere?

Game looks awesome, but I don't like the way the game does that slight 'pause' during regular fighting. Takes away from the fluidity, to me.

Otherwise, I WANT.

I have to say that they did it very well in keeping the feeling of the previous games

I have barely played the games but have seem tons of people playing them and this new one really keeps the style of the classics,whit things like the music and all that

...except for the classic Ken v. Ryu fireball exchange. If they didn't add some check or balance that would allow people to get past that, well, the game will still probably do well, but I'm out.

Looks sweet. I'm one of the biggest SF fans here. I might buy a console for this game, but I'd probably have to try it out first.

Out of the thousands of animations shown, a couple of them seem a little weird - mostly when falling from a great height bugged me, and the tiger uppercut seems a little tired, but you probably get used to it.

I really liked the pause thing for the super moves or whatever.

The new characters seem great, and Ken's super looks tight as hell.

Yeah. It's been at least 10 years since SF3. It's about freaking time they did something with it. It's easily the most popular fighting game of all time.
