Okay, here are my system specs and settings:
AMD Athlon 64 2800+
Geforce 6800 128 MB
1024 MB DDR
80 GB Hard drive
Windows XP service pack 1
CS:S Settings maxed, except for AA and AF
AA: 2x
AF: 6x
Resolution: 1600x1200
My stress test score is 50 FPS, is this typical for a system like mine?
Just wondering...

/me thinks something is fishy with CB | Para score.

That's very odd, I just upped my AA to 6x (what Autodetect recommended) and upped AF to 16x and my FPS jumped to 65.

yeah... CB | Para, that score isn't even possible with your system specs and on those quality settings.

My P4 is 800mhz faster than yours and all other specs are the same, but if I run the test with the same quality setting you did, I only get 59fps.

So either your overclocked your video card past the stock: Memory 340MHz, Core: 380MHz, or you just changed your setting after the test...

Hah almost fooled you didn't I? I'm using tweaks in the config that remove a lot of stuff, so technically I'm not using those settings you see on that pic. Without cheating I get around 38-39 fps on the VST (without AA).

im going to call you on this one. i seriously doubt you got that score with what you claim + highest detail in game.

can nvidia cards even go up to 8x aa?

I get ~40fps on this:

AMD Athlon 2600+
Radeon 9600 Pro 128 MB
512 MB DDR
Windows XP service pack 2
All high settings
AA: 2x
AF: Trilinear
Resolution: 1024x768

~80fps

specs are
2500 barton
1024 3200 ram
abit nf7-s
9800pro @stock speeds

just gunna run it at clocked speeds when i find out the best ones with ati tool

this is at 1024x768, models high, textures high, no aa, trilinear, reflect all, high shadows and shaders.

His AA was most likely not on. Nvidia's multi 8xAA is a performance killer.

I get an average of about 83.00 FPS then i go into a server and i only get about 40 FPS is this going to be like this in HL2? I play at 1024x768 on max everything no aa,no af and no vertical sync.
