String Tributes to [Everyone]

I'm not sure how many of you have heard of them, but there are these really awsome CDs that that are tributes to artists... except they're done in strings... They're actually really, really awsome. I really like the Dashboard one, but there are tons of awsome ones... from the Beatles to Led Zeppelin to U2, tons of them. The Site that you can buy them from is www.tmrpro.com . I think if you search for them on Amazon you can listen to samples from the CDs...


Anyway, idk, I just think it's a really cool idea, and I'm a sucker for violins.


Have any of ya'll heard any of these cds before? and which ones?

Yes, I've listened to some of these before. I've actually listened to the Dashboard Confessional one as well since I am a fan of Chris.

I don't think I like them that much. I'm not really into the computer generated strings and MIDI sounding music. If it were recorded by an actual orchestra, I think I'd have a different opinion.
