Hey wasnt sure where to but this but I would like to know how to strip the audio from the hl2 intro bink onto a cd. I want to use it for my alarm clock. Anyone have any ideas on how to do it?

Thanks.

Dunno if its possible, try to record with the voice recorder in windows...shitty quality but what the hell? :D

It is.

1) Install the RAD Video Tools utility.
2) Run it.
3) Select the bink from which you want to extract the audio.
4) Click "convert a file" at the bottom.
5) Change the Output Type to WAV.
6) Uncheck Convert Video and check Convert Audio (if selecting WAV doesn't do this for you).
7) Click Convert... and you're done.

k well I tried your way h00dlum and well damn the 60 sec recording lol. I try wat you said OCybrManO and get back to you if it works. Thanks for help guys.

Download Bink tools here [1.2MB]

Open it up, select your file, click "Convert a file".

Choose output type: WAV FILE. Then configure settings or just press convert.

You then have yourself a wav file which you probably want to save as an mp3 file using another application.

EDIT: damn beaten, took too slow typing with one hand and eating :p
