Stuck at Lift in Black Mesa

There's a problem when I get to the part where Dr Mossman escorts me through the complex to the lift. As soon as the lift arrives and she's finished talking.. that's it! She's just standing there and doesn't proceed inside the lift so no matter what I can't seem to move forward with the game.

Even if I pull the 'noclip' bit and go on my own down to meet the guy in the lower room he doesn't even acknowledge I'm there because Dr. Mossman isn't with me. This sucks!
