Stuck at Water Hazard... HELP!!!

I'm at the part after I push the washing machine down to something to make a ramp rise and ride my airboat to this place. This biatch opened the gates for me and a black guy spoke to me. I read from some FAQ that i have to part the airboat and some guy would take me to see some map and fix a gun on my airboat but its not happening. And I do not have the A.I Disable problem.

Is there a particular place that I have to park my airboat? I tried talking to all 3 of the NPC, 2 human and 1 Alien holding a gun which i suppose is to be mounted to my airboat but they did not say a word, they all turned to look at me tho.

funny you mention the AI Disabled issue, another problem a lot of people with the warez version have is that the characters at the point you're stuck at don't respond with their scripted sequences, and don't actually fix your boat - something to think about

iono mate, I bought mine online and I heard that some others that bought their versions of HL2 online are getting some technical difficulties

I've tried parking it as close as touching the docks, its really woerd. Anyone encountered this before? The game was runnign perfectly until this stage.

Reload an earlier save. If you really have a legal version, it will probably work - sometimes characters do ignore scripted sequences on the legal version as well.

And if it still doesn't work, there is a command that you can put into the console to spawn the boat with the gun.

Unfortunatly I don't know it, so hopefully someone will come up with it . Then you just apply the impusle101 cheat and go through the barrier and hope the rest of the game works better.

PS: This is a last resort, since applying these cheats might cause other problems, so I don't guarantee anything.

All these posts and no one tells him the obvious?? Try VALIDATING your game files by clicking the word validating, that should fix your problem.

Kenjisky, Thanks to you, I messed around with the cooker, and then the washing machine, but nothing happened. I figured I had to wind up the gate myself. I get the airboat up onto the landing, leaned over to turn the handle, and was suddenly out of the boat, and can't get back in. I get the gate up and had to run through the polluted tunnel until I reached the clean water and the shed with the headlice and the goodies suspended over the water. No "biatch" to open the gate, no black guy, no alien, and no gun for the boat! At this place I find the map on the wall, and am still trying to figure out at which halflife location of the two I am at.

Anybody follow this??
