stuck Barney after snipers gone in FOLLOW FREEMAN

Hi I'm in FOLLOW FREEMAN - and have cleared out the snipers as far as I can see (no blue beams, thrown grenades into all open windows), but Barney is still on the roof -- and I can't proceed -- is this an AI script bug?

Would appreciate answers ASAP -- it's 3am here!

AI characters getting stuck seems to be a common issue. The quickest way to fix it is to use cheat codes to start from the last point the game loaded a new part of the level. Doing that seems to make the AI characters wake up again.

I'll go find the specific code.

apparently i can get onto the roof as alternative trigger - any help doing that?

Don't know what that means.

Anyhow, you can restart close to where you were.

Options-->Keyboard-->Advanced and make sure Enable Developer Console is ticked. Press the key to the top left of your keyboard, next to 1. This brings up the console. Type in:

map d3_c17_09

And that will load just before the snipers. Hopefully Barney will now move.

Actually, you can also use the console to cheat and do it even quicker by switching on cheats, god mode and flying around.

The map way in my previous post will work for sure and is okay as long as you don't mind taking out the snipers again. If you do mind, though, you can cheat.

Do the map thing as before, then:

sv_cheats 1
god
noclip

Now fly around, take out the snipers and fly to up to Barney, then...

noclip
god
sv_cheats 0

Or at least, I think that's right.
