Stuck for H.L.2-Black Mesa East Chapter

After I completed for chapter 4 water hazarrd. Then I stop my boat, climb up the ladder, walk through meet Dr. Judith Mossman (after be scanned in air lock room) Then I follow Dr. Judith Mossman ,pass the door, and she lead to elevator(lift). When elevator arrived, it should be that she will walk up to lift and I follow. Then, lift will go down. But nothing
happen, when lift arrived , she stop for any action (speak, walk) only she do is look at me
and stand. Ha Ha Ha ..... What happen!
Even I've tried to walk in the lift. But
she still stand outside lift and only look
at me.
Is it bug? and can resolve by patch? I
not sure. Many person advised me that H.L.2
is the best game that ever happened in the
world. I not sure. I think bioshock or
crysis may better. Because I can finished
these game without install any patch.
Anyway, any comments is very appreciated.

I have tried to re-run game 2-3 times. But the result is the same.

No Steam = pirated game + no help here + IP forwarded to authorities.

Judging from your problem, my first guess is that the game is pirated since AI issues in Black Mesa East is very common in pirated copies of Half-Life 2.

We're not stupid you know. (At least I'm not anyways. :dozey: )

I probably shouldn't help here, since it's obvious you pirated the game, but I "heard" how to fix this little bug. Quick save right before you get to the elevator, then quick load from that spot, should continue okay from there.
Then, once you've totally enjoyed the game, go out and buy a copy to have forever to play again and again
