[Stuck] Im stuck at.. erm Follow gordon ?

oke heres the situation .. im stuck

oke, some1 is holding a speech about a public library etc that thats the meeting point and we have to shut something off so the door? will open and we can escape

so we go outside but there is no way out ? some thing is shooting me from the sky but i dont know where to go so i only die :|

you see the large building near where the missiles are coming from? Get inside that on the right hand side.

To be more specific:

I was stuck at this point too, but I eventually found it.

The area is a like a big square box, although there are fences and the force fields blocking you from getting to most of it. Along the sides of the level somewhere (I think opposite to the side you enter from) there will be a door you can enter. There are a few combine in here. You go through to another room, then come out again into the courtyard again, only this time you're past the 1st lot of force fields. If you run straight across you come to another door, that again will lead you past the 2nd lot of force fields. Then you have to run across the courtyard yet again (lotta combine spawn on the steps) to get to the door that takes you inside the building.

but now i got another problem.. .2 striders... i killed 1 but cant find anymore rockets to shoot at him ??

i found 6 in a house, 3 on the frontdoor of the big building and 3 from a woman who was shooting... but i only get 1 strider dead ??

do i need to kill them both ? if not wheres the exit ?? cant find it :|

i'm stuck inside - got 2 of the generators, but i can't get through that secure room... even tried running the gauntlet and pushing the button near the health pod, but no joy

I would suggest killing both.. there are more rockets, in a case that you open, back by where you came out from the building. Exit by going back where you started, past the combine shields, and going down the stairs

You have to blow up 3 generators.

never tried avoiding the beams though!

I'm stuck in the Generator room, I don't know what to do, I knocked out one generator and not a single field has dropped.

All 3 generators need to be knocked out for the force fields to go...
2 are near each other on opposite sides of the stairs. Just work your way around the bullet proof glass and you get to it fairly easily...

 

[Lanthanide]

For the laser-tripped room - you just have to avoid the lasers. You can duck and jump over most of the first lot fairly easily. The last one is a little tricky to get over, but you can do it (it involves jumping on top of the right-most bookcase at the end there).
