stuck in anticitizen one HELP!!!

When alex joins up and you burst into the room together. Kill the combines, then she says you need to take out generator with antigrav gun. then she says lets go.

I cant find my way out of there!! I have tried for hours!! I even built a huge ladder out of stuff and jumped my way back up into the room with the huge hole in the floor(previous "loading" area). There are un breakable windows and unlockable doors and doors with debris in them but I cant find the way. I have tried anti-grav gun on rubble in doors, blowing up rubble in doors. VERY FRUSTRATING AT THIS POINT!!!

I am sure it is something simple but I am stuck hard!!

There is a door beside the computer Alyx was using. Go through it, turn left, and then head through the short hallways until you are outside.
