stuck in anticitizen one... (spoilers)

alyx just informed me we need to go to the square and take out the generator... so we need to go to the square... problem: i can't find a way there

i'm in a series of rooms. one full of burning/burned/skinned bodies, headcrabs, and turrets. The others very dark of full of furniture... there is one room on the lower floor that is a combine security station... do you guys know what i'm talking about and have a way out?

there is a door in front in the same room in fact; it leads to the place where there is mines and ammos in order to kill all the bad guys who will come while she tries to open the door
