stuck in anticitizen one

This is hard to describe. I have this squad that have joined me. We have been thru and around several alleys and buildings looking for a way forward. Several doors and iron gates, but nothing wants to open. The main street is barred by a huge gate topped by shimmering glass(?). Help wanted please.

I'm pretty sure I know where you are.

As you're facing the combine gate you'll see that off to the left is a wrecked and burning car.

Go past that and through the building there, which will lead you to the backside of the combine gate.

Darkstar is correct, there should be an entrance to around to the back of the gate. Have you gotten around the crater?

im stuck there as well i went through that building and just ended up where i began

i was also stuck there for a short time. just walk around and sooner or later u will get out

Went back to an earlier save, and now seem to have got past that spot. Think I might be in the crater(?), with two seeing-eye guns shooting anything that moves. How to get out of this? I'm rapidly losing my squad.

You can toss a grenade in there to take out the turrets. If you get out of the crater, then go up onto the grassy part (where the medic is nursing the wounded guy). There should be an open doorway there.
