Stuck in black mesa (or something similar)

Don't know if this is the place to post this... But I seem to be stuck in the black mesa-part. Don't know if that is the exact name, but it's right after the waterscooterthingy. You end up with a lady scanning you, being surprised you"ve made it so fast... She says she'll bring you to Eli, opens the elevator and freezes... Had this before though, first time using an elevator (in the beginning of the game) same happened, I solved it by reloading the game, but that doesn't work either... Anyone? :-(

Many people get this. I guess all you can do is to noclip throgh the floor of the elevator until you reach a room with Eli.

Well, you either have to use noclip or play the whole chapter again.

Are you using a warez copy of hl2? There is a known bug with the warez version that makes that scene not work

Lol, always telling people they have warez. You know it could be possible that there are errors in the actual game, it just depends on how you play if they are unlocked.

I read on the steam forums that the best way to solve this problem is to walk around in the elevator and press f6 then f9 eventually she'll unfreeze

This has never happened to me, however, through my 3 time playing the game, a scene in the last chapter just froze. But restarting the chapter fixed it.
