Im having trouble here..hopefully sum1 good can help me...anywayz Im in the chapter "sand trap" where i've just obtained the alien pheromones from the Ant Lion mother.......then im suppose to go all the way where a npc is standing tellin me tht noah prospect is right ahead...but the prob is i can open tht door or go past tht area...i've try lookin for ledges or any ways of goin through but 2 no avail.... ;(

Would sum1 help me pls...?

Hmmmm..i dun tink so..i've reach 2 a small base which is like under the cave...its where u just past the jumping part to avoid ant lions...there would be a npc handling a turret above the entrance...

Well im meaning the metal door like fence inside the place,not wen entering....wen he gives the pheromones then the gate will open,once inside i will meet a negro fella with a fireplace bside him....he says tht noah prospect is up ahead...but how do i open tht metal door like fence 2 go thru...??PLZ HELP ME ANY1, thks..

It sounds like a bug. You can use a map code to load up before the bug and see if it works properly this time.

Go to Options-->Keyboard-->Advanced and make sure Enable Developer Console is ticked. Then press the key to the top left of your keyboard, next to 1. This will bring up the console. Type in:

map d2_coast_11

That will load you up just after the lighthouse. It sucks to have to do that section all over again, though, but that can wake up game characters that aren't working properly.

Or you can use a map code to load up just after you leave the base if that doesn't work. You come out of the base along a long cave you will see behind you:

map d2_coast_d12

I say try the top map code and play through it again. If it fails to work, try the second one. You won't miss very much and I can tell you what happens if you want.

Heheheh, U R DA MAN doomed...u seem to be helping evry1 around,thts good job,i appreciate it and i respect you....thks a lot,well for this prob i got so frustrated i remembered "noclip" ,so i just use it...it work..Anywayz u finish the whole game..??

Thanks. Yeah, you can also even use "map" then "noclip" together for some bugs, map to load the map and hope the problem has gone away and noclip to skip past all the stuff you've done already on the map.

I finished the game twice, on normal and on hard. I've just been reading all the forums here and sometimes see people with problems I know or just take a guess at helping. It only takes a minute, so I post.

People have found that "noclip" works for some bugs and not for others, depending on the problem.
