Stuck in entanglement

Basically I have to set up 3 turrets and the combine troops have 4 ways to come into the area. I have a HEV charger and medkit charger on the wall where the turret cupboard thigns are. The combine always storm in and manage to knock over the turrets and kill me. Theres jsut too many to take and I always get killed. Anyone suggest anything?

Set up the turrets at the ends of the room and put the third one somewhere close to make it easier to set back up. Then let the combine come and use your shotgun to take out any troops that get near the turrets (2 to the chest will usually do it). Alyx will give three messages, once you're at the third if all your turrets are down dont bother putting them back up, just hunt down all the combine/manhacks. If all else fails you could god mode this part.

Yes. This is how I set them up. Be prepared with the gravity gun to get them up the second they fall.

blue is you
green is the turret positions
red is where you found the turrets
