Stuck in Route Kanal w/ Vortigaunt

I have jumped into this red train car with a civilian and a vortigaunt, and the civ asks me to go over to the vortiguant and get charged. I do exactly this and he continues to charge the television screen. I am stuck in the red train car with no idea how to get out. Any ideas? I have tried everything.

That is wierd. Sounds like a glitch in the scripting. try reloading from your last save and going at it again.
