Stuck in Sandtrap

I am cleared teh 3 oil drilsl things afetr getting the bug stopper.

I have reached a place where a load of guys are shooting from a tower and teh only place to go is in the water which I get eaten by some fish things

Any ideas where to go next

Go up the beach, past each tower using the antlions to kill the guards or to distract them from shooting you

Where is this path? I am at the point in sandtrap where I've killed the two zombies by the fire, lowered down the ladder, climbed along the cliff to see the guards, I shot them off, went up the ladder, now I am stuck because there is not another ladder to climb up to what I belive to be nova prospect. How the heck am I suppose to get to this place? Can anyone help me please?
